Championship data operations
Before I built software, I ran the data. Two seasons of registration, attendance and results for one of the region's largest school championships.
Scale and stakeholders
27,000+ athletes and 400+ schools, delivered with ADEK, Abu Dhabi Sports Council and the Ministry of Education, each needing different views of the same numbers on daily, weekly and monthly cycles.
What I built and ran
Automated reporting in Excel VBA and Power Query, with Power BI dashboards for decision-makers. Registration, attendance and results reports generated on schedule rather than by hand.
Data quality control, attendance forecasting and resource planning, plus the human side: resolving discrepancies directly with schools, government entities and internal teams on event days.
Why it matters now
This is where I learned what an operation actually needs from software, and it is why the platforms I ship now start from the data model and the edge cases rather than from the screens.
